These structures shall mark the building entrances, provide a prominent place to identify building names, and create shaded seating areas for visitors. The scope of work shall also: replace worn surface pavers with new waterproofing and concrete paving to match campus standards; update existing monument signs to improve wayfinding, recognize donors, and distinguish the outpatient facilities from the hospital and other campus buildings; replace existing plant material; provide seating adjacent to the new planting areas; and provide new irrigation systems and lighting.
